What Connection Do You or Your Father Have with the People of Armenia and Artsakh? Simonyan to Kocharian
Today, Robert Kocharian's young son has allowed himself to speak about morality and villainy in front of journalists, even mentioning my name. To reinforce his claim, he references the suffering people of Artsakh and adds that perhaps there are people who have homes in the North. This was written by the President of the Armenian National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, on his Telegram channel.
“If no one dares to ask, first, what connection do you or your father have with the people of Armenia and Artsakh, as you were neither elected there nor do you live in Armenia? Or, if you care so much, why were the businesses, homes, stores, mobile phones, or car salons, and the Banbunker Hotel not built in Artsakh? But I don’t want to continue on this topic. Due to the surname you bear and your father's actions, politically you are merely a ‘pear’ of the boxing ring; they will say whatever they want, and there will still be more to say. I am not even going to mention where you are and where politics lies. You are in the parliament for one reason: to hide the previous actions under a political umbrella. For you, an Armenian is the same, regardless of where he is. But forget all these topics and concentrate on the ongoing negotiations about giving Megrit to Aliyev, negotiations that are not only about ceding part of Armenia’s Syunik to Azerbaijan but also part of Artsakh, a portion legally enshrined in the Constitution. And the kindergarten justifications and the crocodile tears, claiming that, well, it is not there, cannot continually repeat what Kocharian has said, but remember that there is not only this major report but also Vazgen Sargsyan’s famous speech in Megrit days before October 27. Remember there are also the memories of Tigran Rima Demirchyan, the 'Megrit evacuation plan,' and the continuous apologies and justifications that just go on and on.
It is said that Pilate, who sent Jesus to be nailed to the cross, later appeared publicly and washed his hands, claiming that His blood was not on his hands but on the Jewish people instead, and now his punishment in hell is that he continually washes his hands, and blood continues to flow. You must continuously justify yourselves and continuously apologize to the peoples of both Armenia and Artsakh; otherwise, you have no other fate,” he wrote.
