We Are Grateful for What Putin Has Done: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he is very grateful to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for the release of American Mark Fogl, who was sentenced in Russia.

“I am very thankful for what he has done... we appreciate what President Putin has done,” he said at the White House while welcoming Fogl.

According to a statement from the White House, besides the head of state, Fogl also met with Republican leaders, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise.
