Pentagon Chief Makes Statement

The U.S. will not send its troops to Ukraine, declared Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth. “We are not sending troops to Ukraine,” Hegseth told reporters, and this was broadcast by the Pentagon.

He also noted that U.S. President Donald Trump expects a peace agreement on the Ukraine issue to be reached “soon,” and that after the resolution of the situation, the U.S. will complete its reassessment of troop deployments around the world.
