Details on Negotiations Regarding Visa Liberalization for Armenia-EU
On February 11, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, attended by representatives from the Consular Department and the Europe Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside a delegation from the European Union.
During the meeting, discussions were focused on the implementation of the agreement for easing visa requirements between Armenia and the EU. Participants presented the consular functions performed by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Armenian embassies abroad.
The EU delegation, which includes representatives from relevant EU directorates, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, and EU member states, is in Armenia from February 10-14 within the framework of dialogues on visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU. The visit aims to assess Armenia's readiness regarding document security, border management, migration governance, and related fields, which will aid in developing an action plan for the dialogue on visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU.
