Israeli Army Placed on High Alert Status
The Israel Defense Forces have been placed on the highest alert status due to the situation surrounding hostages in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Interfax.
"I have ordered the Israel Defense Forces to be at the highest level of readiness to address any possible scenario in the Gaza Strip and to protect border settlements," said Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
He noted that the actions of Hamas constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement, adding that Israel will not return to the reality of October 7.
Earlier, Hamas decided to postpone the release of another group of hostages, stating that Israel had violated the ceasefire agreement.
