Fog, Black Ice: Road Conditions

There are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia. This information is reported by the Rescue Service.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

The Noravank-Ltsen-Tatev and Noravank-Shinuhayr-Tatev roads are difficult to navigate (black ice) for all types of vehicles.

On the roads from Jugevan to Hoskepart, Geghariot to Jamslu, and Norashen to Alagyaz, as well as in the Dilijan serpentine (fog), there are patches of black ice.

As for Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepanstminer-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
