Peskov's Response to Trump and Putin's Phone Call

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitri Peskov, has neither confirmed nor denied the information regarding the phone call between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.

“As the Washington administration is carrying out its work, there arises a need for various communications, and these interactions are conducted through different channels. Naturally, against the background of such multiple communications, I personally may not be aware of something or may not have the information on certain matters. Therefore, in this case, I cannot confirm or deny it,” he stated.

Earlier, it was reported that Trump spoke on the phone with his Russian counterpart regarding issues concerning the resolution of the Ukraine conflict.
