Major Fire in Stepanavan: Dozens of Residents Evacuated

On February 8, at 04:42, a call was received by the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue department reporting that a fire broke out in one of the buildings in the Ashotaberd neighborhood of Stepanavan.

Two fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene. The fire ignited on the second floor and roof of a wooden building (approximately 450 sq. m.). A fire complexity level "2" was announced.

Rescuers evacuated about 30 residents from the building.
