Blizzard and Black Ice: Roads Closed

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station to K'ari Lich and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn Province. The Lts'en-Tatev-Kapan highway is closed for all types of vehicles.

In the Syunik Province, the roads are difficult to navigate. In the Aragats Region, sections of the Dilijan serpentine, the Novemberian-Zhokepay-Kirants, and the Berd-Chambarak roads are experiencing black ice in places.

There is a blizzard in the area known as 'Zanger' in Sisian.
