Unknown Individuals Steal $40,000 Worth of Eggs in Pennsylvania, USA

In Pennsylvania, USA, unknown individuals have stolen $40,000 worth of eggs amid rising prices and a shortage, reported CNN.

It is noted that a total of 100,000 eggs were taken. The theft occurred near a truck parked at the Pete & Gerry's Organics food production company in Greencastle. Authorities are currently searching for the thieves.

Recently, there has been a shortage of chicken eggs in the US, leading to increased prices. The shortage is attributed to the destruction of more than 13 million chickens due to avian influenza starting from November-December 2024.
