This is a Very Important Political Decision: Pashinyan

The European Union has made a very important decision by including Armenia in the European Peace Facility, which is also a significant political decision. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at the Atlantic Council.

“Recently, we signed the Strategic Cooperation Charter with the United States, which is also a very important decision. We hope to open a new chapter in our relations with the United States. We are actively working on our foreign policy, and the implementation of a balanced and stabilizing foreign policy is in process. I believe we are doing this quite effectively.”

Pashinyan stated, “Honestly, I can say that despite all the challenges, we have been able to raise the level of our independence and sovereignty, and I usually say that Armenia is becoming a more and more independent country, which is very important. It opens up new opportunities for us, but on the other hand, of course, it brings new challenges.”

According to him, there are obviously many challenges in international politics these days, particularly for Armenia: “We feel that, but on the other hand, we see that new opportunities are opening up, and our task is to manage all the challenges and take advantage of those opportunities as much as possible.”
