Possible Price Increases on Temu, Shein, and Amazon Haul

Prices on Temu, Shein, and Amazon Haul may rise for American consumers. Reuters reports that the reason behind this is U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to close the trade loophole that was used to avoid tariffs on inexpensive packages coming from China.

These online stores have flourished in the U.S. primarily due to the 'de minimis' exemption, which allowed them to keep prices low.

“This is a significant issue for Temu, Shein, and Amazon Haul, as the de minimis exemption was one of the incentives that allowed them to offer low prices and ensure quick access to goods,” noted Juozas Kaziukėnas, director at Marketplace Pulse, an e-commerce data company.
