Israeli Foreign Minister Announces Exit from UN Human Rights Council

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, following the United States, has announced Israel's exit from the UN Human Rights Council.

“Israel welcomes President Trump’s decision not to participate in the work of the UN Human Rights Council. Israel joins the United States and will not participate in the UN Human Rights Council,” Sa'ar stated on the social media platform X.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump had signed an executive order for the United States to withdraw from the UN Human Rights Council and the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.
