Current Situation on the Upper Lars Highway

The internationally significant Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway has been closed in both directions for heavy freight transport due to snowfall in the Gudauri-Kobi section. This was reported by Vahan Hakobyan, the customs attaché of the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation.

"The road remains open for light passenger vehicles," Hakobyan noted.
