While a segment aired on Azerbaijani television discusses how Russia attacked and seized Zangezur in 1920, it is important to note that until 1918, there was fundamentally no Azerbaijan. It emerged only as a result of the collapse of the Russian Empire and ensuing chaos. This was reported by Dmitri Nikotin on his Telegram channel.
“Pay attention to the rhetoric of the host and Aliyev himself. Here is your gratitude,” the Telegram channel wrote.
