Drone Attack on Russia Overnight

During the night, the deployed air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 70 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry, 27 drones were shot down in the Rostov region, 25 in the Volgograd region, 7 in the Astrakhan region, 5 in Voronezh, 4 in Belgorod, and 2 in the Kursk region.

On the night of February 3, Volgograd experienced a mass drone attack from Ukraine. Residents of the city reported multiple powerful explosions and bright flashes in the sky, particularly in the Krasnoarmeysk and Sovetsky districts. The governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, stated that the debris from the drone caused local fires in the vicinity of an oil refinery, but these fires were quickly extinguished.
