Palestinian Prisoners Given Israeli Flag Bracelets After Release: Kan

After being released from Israeli prisons, Palestinian prisoners are given wristbands featuring the Israeli flag, inscribed in Hebrew and Arabic with the phrase, "The eternal people does not forget, I pursue my enemies and circumvent them." This was reported by Israel's Kan public broadcasting service, citing the Israel Prison Service, as reported by TASS.

"In addition, posters with the same inscriptions in Hebrew, Arabic, and English are displayed on the walls of prisons where Palestinian prisoners are released as part of the deal, as well as at the checkpoints through which buses transporting them pass into the West Bank," notes Kan.

On January 19, after being held for 470 days in the Gaza Strip, three Israeli women hostages received gift packages from the radical Palestinian HAMAS movement. As reported by the Ynet portal at the time, the packages, adorned with symbols of HAMAS’s military wing, contained "gifts and souvenirs," including postcards featuring scenes from Gaza. Additionally, the women were given "certificates of release," which also came in a "gift package," as well as Palestinian flag bracelets attached to their wrists.
