Who Has Privileges and Discounts When Using Transport

The following groups are entitled to use public transportation in Yerevan with privileges:

• 20% discount: Students aged 8-17 (inclusive) from primary and secondary schools in Yerevan.
• 15% discount: Students from colleges and higher educational institutions in Yerevan.
• 30% discount: Pensioners aged 63 and older registered in Yerevan.
• 20% discount: Recipients of social assistance registered in Yerevan.

Free of charge:

• Children up to 7 years old (inclusive) without a transport card.
• Individuals under full state care living in orphanages and nursing homes.
• Individuals with profound and severe disabilities, classified as 1st and 2nd group disabled persons.
• Parents with four or more minors registered in Yerevan.
• Orphaned students registered in Yerevan.
• Family members of individuals recognized as killed, missing, or deceased during military actions in Artsakh or the Republic of Armenia (widows, minor children, parents).
• Heroes of the former USSR.
• Political prisoners.
• Heroes of Socialist Labor.
• National heroes of Armenia.
• Individuals awarded with 1st and 2nd degree of the Order of the Battle Cross and all three degrees of the Order of Honor.
• Individuals awarded with decorations and medals from the former USSR for selfless work in the rear during the Great Patriotic War.
• Honorable citizens of Yerevan.
