Roads Closed Across Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads across Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to K’ari lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

In the Vardenyats Pass, there are patches of black ice. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

As for the Lars situation, according to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
