Fire in Yerevan: One injured, citizens evacuated

On January 26, at 13:40, the National Crisis Management Center received a call regarding a fire that broke out in one of the first-floor apartments of a building on Shiraz Street in Yerevan.
Two firefighting units from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. Before the arrival of the rescuers, G. M. (born in 1986) was hospitalized.
The fire was contained by 14:07 and extinguished by 14:22. The living room, kitchen, and hallway of the apartment were burned, covering approximately 23 square meters, while two bedrooms (about 20 square meters) suffered from heat damage.
The rescuers evacuated 16 citizens from the building.
