Blocked Roads Due to Black Ice

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are blocked roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain weather station to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress have been closed in the Aragatsotn region.

Additionally, there is black ice present on sections of the Sisian-Zanger road. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Emergency Situations Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
