Road Conditions in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station to K'ar Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn province.

In the Vardenyats Pass and on the roads of the Aparan and Aragats regions, there is black ice in some places. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding the Lars road, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Department and the crisis management center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
