Experience Shows It Has Not Led to Good Outcomes: Zakharova

It is currently difficult to predict what policy the Trump administration will pursue regarding the South Caucasus. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

“Past experience shows that the interference of the USA and the EU in the affairs of the South Caucasus has not led to any good outcomes. The roadmap for the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement and the establishment of sustainable peace is reflected in the trilateral agreements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan,” she noted, adding, “We support direct dialogue between Baku and Yerevan and are always ready to provide the required support to our Azerbaijani and Armenian partners through all means of settlement.”
