Earthquake Recorded Near Turkey
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake has been registered near the shores of Turkey. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The epicenter was located 135 kilometers northwest of the city of Manisa, which has a population of around 243,000. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. There are no reports of casualties or damages.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) also announced that at 23:38, tremors were recorded near Çanakkale province, with the epicenter located in the Aegean Sea at a depth of 8.65 kilometers, approximately 7 kilometers from the Turkish coast.
