Deaths Reported Due to Winter Storm in the U.S.
In southern U.S. states, thousands of flights have been canceled or delayed due to a winter storm. This was reported by Axios.
Schools, government institutions, and roads are closed in several states, including Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida. More than 300 million people in the U.S. are expected to be ready for immediate evacuation.
It has been reported that heavy snowfall and ice rain will continue to move eastward. In some areas, temperatures could drop to -10°C or lower.
A state of emergency has been declared in several southern states, and authorities are warning residents about the potential for hypothermia injuries.
It is also noted that 10 people have died as a result of the winter storm.
