Road Conditions in Armenia

The Emergency Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to K'ari Lich and the Amberd Fortress are closed. The Spitak twists are difficult to navigate for trucks.

Black ice is present in some areas of the Vardenyats mountain pass, as well as along the roads connecting Artashat, Vedi, Aparan, and Aragats regions, Tat'ev-Lts'en, Gorayk-Zanger, Yerevan-Sevan, Yerevan-Artashat, Noyemberyan-Ijevan, and Berd-Jambarak.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
