Fire in One of Yerevan's Hotels: Citizens Evacuated

On January 19, at 01:08, the National Center for Crisis Management received a notification regarding smoke detected in the basement of a hotel located on Armenakyan Street in Yerevan. Four firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene, along with operational teams from the National Center for Crisis Management, on-duty personnel from the Medical Support Department, and standby groups from the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations Organization.

The fire was isolated at 01:42 and extinguished at 01:59. In the basement, an electrical panel, 50 square meters of cable, and household items covering an area of 1 square meter were burned, with 3 square meters of the suspended ceiling being thermally damaged. A total of 17 citizens were evacuated.
