“On behalf of everyone at TikTok and all our users across the country, I want to thank President Trump for his commitment to working with us to find a solution to keep TikTok available in the United States,” said the CEO in a video published on TikTok.

Earlier, the White House announced that a final decision on the fate of the Chinese TikTok social platform must be made by the new administration led by Donald Trump due to the timelines surrounding the enforcement of a potential ban.

“Ultimately, it’s all up to me, so you’ll see what I do,” Trump commented on the situation surrounding TikTok.
