Tzovinar Vardanian Responds to Ovechuk's Statement
The Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Issues, Tzovinar Vardanian, has responded to the recent statement made by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexey Ovechuk, asserting that the EU and the EAEU are incompatible.
“If Armenia has not yet initiated any process, our citizens have only participated in a signature campaign and exercised their rights. The National Assembly will act within its jurisdiction, and it will become clear what will happen. Therefore, expectations should be accurately represented. It's not worth falling into any extremity; this is simply a regular procedure initiated by our citizens,” she stated.
Simultaneously, Vardanian noted that she does not wish to comment on Ovechuk. “Ovechuk should have assessed the situation correctly. His experience and path should allow him to evaluate it accurately,” Tzovinar Vardanian remarked.
