Turkey's Intelligence Chief and Hamas Discuss Situation in the Middle East

The head of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, has held a phone conversation with representatives of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas. According to A Haber television, during the discussions, they addressed the status of negotiations regarding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The parties assessed the progress made in achieving agreements around the ceasefire. It was also decided to continue efforts in this direction.
