Medvedev on Pashinyan's Shaving and 'Getting Engaged' with the EU
I do not rule out that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan might remember Armenia's membership in the CSTO following the recent harsh statements by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, in an interview with RIA Novosti.
'I wouldn’t be surprised if a shaved Pashinyan recalls that Armenia is a member of the CSTO. Or another option could be in light of Armenian leaders’ intent to 'get engaged' with the European Union. They can directly approach the EU, which loves to help candidates for paradise with money and weapons,' noted the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.
Aliyev had declared that 'the Armenian independent state is, in fact, a fascist state, and fascism must be destroyed.'
