All Around Our House is on Fire: Situation in Pasadena

“I’m in Pasadena, and all around our house is on fire. Please pray that the Lord keeps us in His grace,” says Armenian-American Hovhannes Halajyan in a video posted on his Facebook page. Earlier, we reported that wildfires raging in the U.S. have reduced hundreds of homes to ash in Los Angeles.

California’s firefighters are struggling to combat the wildfires that have broken out in Los Angeles. According to the California Fire Department, the total area of the fires in Los Angeles has reached nearly 11,000 hectares. The fires have destroyed more than 1,000 buildings, and at least five people have died. Hundreds of thousands of people are left without electricity.
