New Virus Outbreak in China

A new outbreak of human metapneumovirus (hMPV) has occurred in China, reported Daily Star. According to the publication, the infection has created significant strain on the country's healthcare system.

The virus reportedly exhibits symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 and influenza, affecting the lungs. The report notes that infected individuals are being admitted to hospitals with fever, cough, sore throat, as well as fatigue and dizziness.

Studies indicate that the virus is also spreading in the United Kingdom.
