Criminal Proceedings Initiated Over Theft of Flowers from Yerablur Grave Markers

Criminal proceedings have been initiated by the Investigative Committee of Armenia regarding the theft of flowers from the grave markers at Yerablur under Article 254, Part 2, Point 1 of the Criminal Code (Theft committed by a group of persons by prior agreement). This information was provided to NEWS.am by Kim Avdalyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

It is noteworthy that a video was circulated on the internet the day before, showing a man taking flowers placed on the graves of the fallen at Yerablur. According to Ministry of Defense spokesperson Aram Torosyan, the individuals depicted in the video have been identified and located by the military police, and materials related to the incident have been forwarded to the prosecuting authority.

“Taking this opportunity, I must mention that several media colleagues have disseminated incorrect footage that has no connection to the incident,” he added.
