Fire in Gyumri: One Victim

On December 29, at 03:17, the Shirak Regional Rescue Department's crisis management center received an alert that a shack was on fire near one of the houses in the 61st neighborhood of Gyumri, with a resident reportedly inside. This information was shared on the Facebook page of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Three firefighting crews from the regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 04:12 and extinguished by 06:30. The shack, approximately 60 square meters, was destroyed, and the body of Kh. S. (born in 1971) was discovered inside.
