The authorities of South Korea have declared a 7-day national mourning period due to the plane crash in Muan.

It has been confirmed that 177 people have died, two have survived, and two others are considered missing. “Once again, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. The government will do everything possible to address the consequences of the disaster,” the statement said.

It is also noteworthy that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia extended condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash at Muan International Airport in South Korea. This was mentioned in a post on the MFA of Armenia's X microblog.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash that occurred at Muan International Airport in South Korea, which claimed so many lives. Our heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to the victims' families, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the post read.

Recall that a plane crash occurred at Muan Airport in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. There were 175 passengers and 6 crew members on board the aircraft.
