Olaf Scholz has openly stated that he wishes to again take on the role of Chancellor of Germany and noted that he is making every effort to win the upcoming elections.

“I am completely open: I want to be reelected,” Scholz said in an interview with the t-online news portal.

“In the coming weeks, they will think carefully about who they wish to vote for on February 23,” Scholz added.

“My full power is directed towards winning the upcoming elections,” Scholz summarized in response to a question about whether his political career would end if he loses the upcoming elections.
