New Aid Package from the USA for Ukraine

The United States is set to announce a new aid package for Ukraine in the coming days, which will include air defense systems. This was stated by John Kirby, the White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications.

“I’m confident that in the next day or two you will see yet another package of military assistance from the U.S. that has been approved by the President. This package will certainly include air defense systems for Ukraine,” Kirby said during a press briefing with reporters.

On December 25, the White House announced that U.S. President Joe Biden had instructed the Department of Defense to continue the active supply of weapons to Ukraine.
