Major Fire Results in Discovery of Charred Body in House

On December 27, at 10:59 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department received a call reporting that a house was on fire at the beginning of Garni village.

Two fire-fighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and three volunteers from the Garni volunteer firefighting group were dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that the fire erupted in one of the houses on Azatamartikneri Street (approximately 20 square meters). During firefighting operations, a charred body was discovered.

The fire was contained by 11:40 AM and extinguished by 12:25 PM. The house, along with its belongings, was burned down.
