The Azerbaijani airline AZAL has identified the cause of its aircraft crash. The preliminary cause of the disaster is stated to be the "physical and technical external impact," according to the announcement.

Earlier, the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia mentioned that the Azerbaijani AZAL airline's crashed aircraft was unable to land in Grozny as planned due to terrorist attacks from Ukraine.
