Andranik Kocharyan Literally Pleaded with Me, Says Archbishop
The informant from the ruling Civil Contract party is Gagik Melkonyan, who used to have a mustache and later became bald. There is another person with a bald head, a beard, and glasses—Arthur Hovhannisyan—whom we have sued, along with Arpi Davoyan. This was stated by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan during a conversation with journalists.
In particular, addressing the remark that representatives from the Civil Contract party wanted to talk to him, and whether it is possible that those MPs who once hosted him warmly will return, Archbishop Bagrat noted that he was not the one to be hosted; he was the one hosting. He mentioned that negotiations, small and large, had taken place, and he is not personally in touch, understanding that even mediated relationships are heavily scrutinized.
The Archbishop did not want to name those with whom he had warm relations, although he acknowledged that it is painful. Still, he mentioned Shirak Torosyan, Rustam Bakoyan, and Andranik Kocharyan.
“Andranik Kocharyan literally pleaded with me to prepare a concept for a military doctrine,” he stated.
As for whether Vahe Ghazaryan has contacted him since his dismissal, the Archbishop replied in the negative.
“Now let Vahe Ghazaryan ask himself where he is now, when we said that police officers, including the Minister of Internal Affairs, do not have the right to be in such a service and captivity. This man uses his wickedness; he wouldn’t think for a second about how, through 'SMS' messages, he utilizes the entire past service, friendship, brotherhood, the difficulties they’ve been through together... in one second.... for anyone, this would be inconceivable,” he added.
