Details on the Crash of the Azerbaijani Aircraft

A passenger aircraft near Aktau, located in western Kazakhstan, crashed after an oxygen cylinder exploded, causing passengers to lose consciousness. Eyewitnesses reported to Orda magazine that a bird had entered the engine prior to the incident.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan announced that 28 people survived the crash. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
