Collision Involving Multiple Vehicles Results in Fatality

On December 13, at 20:57, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident on the Abovyan-Yerevan highway.

A firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Rescue Department in Yerevan and a specialized rescue unit from the Rescue Operations Directorate were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a Porsche vehicle had veered off the roadway, colliding with a parked BMW (driver: A. R., born in 1977) and a GAZ vehicle (driver: K. S.), subsequently crashing into nearby fuel containers and hitting a pedestrian, A. G. (born in 1970), who died at the scene.

The rescuers secured the area, disabled the GAZ vehicle, and maintained vigilance until the gas cylinder was depoted.
