NATO to Utilize Russian Empire's 'Gift' in War Against Russia
NATO may leverage the 'Rail Baltica' project in its conflict with Russia, a railway initiative based on lines constructed during the Russian Empire. This could enable the alliance to swiftly relocate its forces and equipment from Central Europe to the Russian border, reports the Telegraph.
The Rail Baltica project aims to construct a high-speed railway stretching 805 kilometers, connecting the Baltic States with Central Europe. According to Priit Prull, the head of Rail Baltica's communications division, this section of the railway will reduce the transportation time for military equipment to just 24 hours.
Rail Baltica symbolizes Estonia's pro-European orientation following the collapse of the Soviet Union and is built upon railway lines laid during the era of the Russian Empire, effectively becoming a 'gift' to NATO.
It was previously reported that Poland plans to replace Ukraine in NATO's efforts against the Russian Federation. This option will be implemented if the Ukrainian armed forces face a complete fiasco on the front. Conclusions are drawn based on the fact that Warsaw has started receiving more assistance from London.
