Leila Tatik, Symbol of the 2018 Revolution, Passes Away

Leila Tatik, one of the symbols of the 2018 revolution, has passed away. This was reported on Facebook by Sona Aghekyan, a member of the "Mother Armenia" alliance.

“In 2018, by deceiving many, they managed to awaken a spark of justice among people and disgracefully used this to seize power. They brought those very individuals, whom they had exploited, to despair, disillusionment, and extreme poverty. Today, I sadly heard that the symbol of the revolution, Leila Tatik, has departed from this life. May God grant peace to her restless and troubled soul,” she wrote.

I am attaching a video I made when we met Leila Tatik at the Friendship Metro crossing during a petition against the rise in transport prices. She was distressed and fully aware that she had been used and humiliated, and that even her rightful pension was not being given to her by the velvet revolutionists.
