Authorities have confirmed that four people died and 205 were injured, with 86 in serious condition, following a vehicular attack on visitors at a Christmas market in Magdeburg. According to reports by Bild, the driver was under the influence of drugs. It is recalled that the driver of the vehicle had plowed into the crowd at the Magdeburg Christmas market. The state government has classified the incident as a terrorist attack.
