Hungary Agrees to Suspend Sanctions Against Gazprombank
Hungary has reached an agreement with the United States to suspend sanctions against Gazprombank for three months, Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced. Additionally, discussions with the Russian Federation have focused on alternative payment methods for gas, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“We managed to reach an agreement with the Americans to suspend sanctions against Gazprombank for three months, so that the threat there is eliminated, and we also agreed with Russia on an alternative method of payment for gas deliveries,” Orban's words are quoted by MTI.
