I Would Include Genghis Khan on That List: Gurgen Arsenyan on the 'Blacklist'
The Ambassador of Armenia to Russia, Gurgen Arsenyan, called the publication regarding the 'blacklist' of Armenians in Russia absurd in an interview with Sputnik. He pointed out that such a publication is beyond the realm of reason.
At the end, he added with irony that he also enjoys fantasy but prefers serious works in the genre. "In the case of schizophrenia, one should contact doctors to interpret this. I have no other words. What was the name of the hospital where the insane were kept? There was a famous Soviet hospital. I would also include Genghis Khan on that list; he should not be allowed to enter Armenia either," Arsenyan stated.
Earlier, it was reported that Ambassador Gurgen Arsenyan conveyed to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs a 'blacklist' of Armenians residing in Russia, whose entry into Armenia is suggested to be banned. The list contains more than 550 names, including journalists, cultural figures, political scientists, and representatives of the Union of Armenians of Russia, among others.
