Turkey's Parliament Speaker: We are Making Every Effort to Achieve This with Azerbaijan

The opening of the "Zangezur Corridor" serves not only the interests of Turkey and Azerbaijan but also those of all countries in the region, stated Turkey's Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş during a joint press conference in Ankara with Azerbaijani Milli Majlis President Sahiba Gafarova.

According to Kurtulmuş, the Zangezur Corridor will become a corridor of cooperation and security, not only for the region but also for other states beyond the region. He expressed Ankara's hope for the swift implementation of the Zangezur Corridor project, which he described as an essential transit point for global trade. "We will continue to provide comprehensive support to Azerbaijan within the framework of this project," he affirmed.

"We hope that the Zangezur Corridor will become a corridor of peace. Turkey and Azerbaijan are making every effort to achieve peace and stability in the region," he concluded. Previously, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan had asserted that there would be no Zangezur Corridor.
