It’s Like Thinking About a Global Apocalypse – Aliyev

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, referred to the scenario of a heated war between Russia and NATO as an 'apocalypse' in an interview with Kiselev. He stated, 'Imagining that NATO and Russia will engage in a hot war is like thinking about a global apocalypse.'

According to Aliyev, there would be no winners in such a war, and even those countries far from the West or Russia could not remain safe. He mentioned that they are prepared to contribute to the de-escalation of tensions if necessary.
